Leader we seek, worforce we be for the developed India

I think this is a blog full of open ended statements and full of artifacts. But still I would want to share it just for one reason.

What is a developed nation, what is the definition of being a citizen of such a nation. Is it just a notion or is it real when we talk about country like India, yes our own India. What we feel when we say "Mera Bharat Mahan", are we optimistic or ignorant, or is it just to spread a positive vibe, or may be we want to keep our hopes alive. How do we react to someone who is sabotaging the growth of our country, whether he is a intruder or a person among us. How does it feel to be in India, whether it is in a rural town or an urban metropolitan city. What do we feel when we see underprivileged people. How do we want to react. How does it feel when we know we have to do something but we cant. What is it that will enable us to do what we want. How long we can think that charity begins and ends at home. Why we have deadline for all our personal things, why we don't have it for things that should be done towards the development of our nation, even if it is why its not being met. Why are we judging people, why are we expecting others to do their job, why are we not voting, why are we ignorant about problems, why we just crib about the problems surrounding us. Why we carry the fake spirit of let go attitude. Why our hands are cut but we still pretend to be having it healthy. Why are we trying to survive rather than living a better future. Why are we acting so foolish, when we are so smart to foresee things coming. What comes to our mind when we think of revolution. What, how or who. Of course its who because we know what and how.
Whats the answer for who. Is it you, me or someone else. Is it to blame someone, having a prejudice about someone, continue gossiping about that someone and looking out for someone else after that someone.

Who's that someone. May be there are two kinds of someone. Someone among us and us ourselves.

Someone among us being the leader and us being the workforce. May be that leader will have a belief which would bring a revolution. He may believe in communism, dictatorship, he may act less responsibly as a trade off for a sooner revolution. He will be intelligent but then he is a human and will be a human craft. He will tend to make some human errors which could be overlooked presently and can be a matter of unfolding mystery in the future. He will be one among us but much more determined, intellectual and aggressive.

Us being ourselves acting as a workforce, as an army behind our leader to sacrifice, believe, support and to reinforce together. We should discuss about the solutions and not crib about the problems. We should embark individual tasks. We should share information, we should inspire others by setting examples. We should use technical, natural and human resources to achieve the goal faster and efficiently. We should be too busy to talk about religion, caste, tradition and rituals.
We should be living in future, think about what are we going to give our next generation, need not reinvent the wheel, trying to globalize, build up a good global reputation not to seek mercy but to improve relationships. Learn from our mistakes not to repeat them rather than playing a blame game. Pull up the socks, fold the cuffs and get ready to serve our own nation. Let's take a oath we will meet this deadline of making this nation into a developed one and Celebrate all the festivals after we have met this deadline. Then we can proudly say "Mera Bharat Mahan".

APJ Abdul Kalam - Hero of our modern nation

This blog is inspired solely from the interview given by our Honorable ex President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. I dont have any other facts to put forth my opinion about him.
Ofcourse I wont start with his introduction, he is definitely a man who doesnt need it. What a man, his words would compel to believe that he comes from somewhere outside the planet very close to sun with whole lot of energy. One example could be the way of conveying his age. He describes his age as completing 76 revolution around the sun.
Without any further writeup in my own words, I would just mention some of his dialogues as is. I may skip some phrases or statements but believe me that doesnt change the meaning of it at all. Here it goes:

"I saw India attain her freedom in August 1947; I saw the economic ascent phase of India [beginning in] 1991. I have seen the green revolution, the white revolution, and the telecom revolution; I have also seen the growth of information and communication technologies (ICT), as well as India's successes in the space program and self-sufficiency in strategic weaponry. These are some of the things I have witnessed. Of course, we have a long way to go. Since we have to bring smiles to the faces of more than one billion people, we have many challenges ahead."

"I worked for ISRO for about 20 years. My team and I worked to put India's first satellite into space. These were youthful teams that worked with me, and they have gone on to take up much larger projects. These in turn have led to great value addition in areas such as technology, infrastructure and, above all, human resources.

One of the important lessons I learned in the space and missile program was not just how to handle success but how to deal with failure. Problems should not become the captain of the project chief; the project chief should be the captain of the problems and defeat the problems."

"Well, I won't call India chaotic, because order comes from disorder. That is what is happening now.

"The concept of PURA -- which stands for "Providing Urban amenities in Rural Areas" -- is about giving a cluster of villages physical, electronic and knowledge connectivity. The idea is to empower the villagers, so that economic connectivity can emerge. We planned about 7,000 PURAs for the country -- including hill PURAs, coastal PURAs and plains PURAs. I believe that connectivity is the key to bridging the rural-urban divide. The core-competence of the village will enable the production of competitive products for national and international markets. This will lead to rural enterprises which will create jobs in villages and lead to a vibrant economy in India's hinterland. That is how prosperity will emerge in the rural environment."

Question: How will social grids -- such as the knowledge grid, the health grid and e-governance grid -- help make India a developed country?

"The idea is that the knowledge grid empowers the village citizens with skill and knowledge. The health grid brings the super-specialty healthcare that is available in the cities to the doorsteps of rural citizens. And the e-governance grid brings transparent governance to the citizens. All these grids lead to economic growth and social transformation."

"My favorite poem is "The Vision." I recited it in Parliament, and I will recite it for you.

I climbed and climbed
Where is the peak, my Lord?
I ploughed and ploughed,
Where is the knowledge treasure, my Lord?
I sailed and sailed,
Where is the island of peace, my Lord?
Almighty, bless my nation
With vision and sweat resulting into happiness."

There is no open ended statements here nor he is talking non sense things. It makes whole lot of sense to his vision. He has a plan and has got artifacts to achieve it.
Definitely this person may be an Almighty craft but certainly non vulnerable to human politics nor influenced by it.

All best wishes to him. Thank you sir!
